Almost Ready

The all new Appetiser at The Cosy Corner. I was inspired so much by Lorna's Peking Duck that I had to ask her to make me a batch of those wonderful little pancakes and guess what! I filled them with pulled pork instead of the traditional Duck! Wow! delicious, so Lorna will be making the breads for us and these will hit the menu from day 1!

All of those that remember Martin, Nusa's little dog that went missing last season, will be happy to hear he has a replacement.
Martin, became very popular with many of you and many have asked about him but sadly he was never returned. If you are down just ask to see him, or pop your head into the Venus compound out back!

The Reuben Sandwich has been a smash at the Roadhouse this past few weeks, but we will only be making this wonderful item available on specials at the Cosy Corner, but keep an eye out for it, it is worth waiting for!
Our own Homecured Salt Beef, Pickled Slaw, Marie Rose Sauce, our Ginger and Radish Mustard and Cheese!

And here is Brian showing you how to eat ithe monster!

Work is going steady on the new Shopping Express supermarket that should be open soon in the centre of Alykanas. Anyone familiar with the chain will know what a difference it will make to self catering tourism here. Many British products at reasonable prices and of course local produce too. Alkanas has been in need of something like this for a long time! Can't wait for it to open!
The building is next to DNA and as an added bonus I believe the apartments are being finished too! All good news.

Well, the old Dionisios Restaurant was to become a bakery. Work started on the building a few months ago. I noticed the other day that work had stopped and the "For Rent" sign had been placed outside! I hope that they are not going to leave the place looking like this!

Bloody mess!
Anyway, off to work. Speak soon and when you are arriving in the resort keep an eye out for this place!

Awe I was looking forward to the possibility of a new bakery at our end of the village. I'll just have to pop over to the one I found in Kalithea one early morning last year. The smell coming from there in the still morning air was just like days of old in our area back when several independant bakeries produced there own breads to generations old family recipes.
