Island FM is a unique English speaking radio station that was launched on 6th June 2005. We broadcast from the Greek island of Zakynthos, which has a permanent British population of approximately 4000 and over 450,000 British visitors each year during the summer season.

We broadcast 24 hours a day, every day on 88.6fm and worldwide on the internet with a selection of shows hosted by British presenters. The station has generated a lots of interest with plenty of positive feedback from our listeners & advertisers.    Bobby Gee

Here on Zakynthos we don't realise yet how fortunate we are to have a radio station like Island FM with such a small English speaking population and for this station to be available all over the world on the internet simply by clicking on their link is fantastic for regular visitors of Zante.

Neraida a lovely spot on the beach serving a winter menu if you fancy a bite to eat.
Boot Sale is now finished for the winter.

Zues bar is open weekend evenings.

Scandals open everyday and host all major sporting events which is handy in the winter, and serve hot snacks.
Monday from 3pm is cribbage day.

29th April Scandals celebrate the Royal Wedding with a street party starting at 12noon. Everyone welcome. There is a buffet supplied but as usual at street parties it would be appreciated if you could bring a little something to add to the table.

BandZaid Rock and Music festival, all day on the 23rd April, St Georges day. Acts from all over the island will perform throughout the day, food and drink available. All proceeds will go to the orphanage charity.
GameZaid on 24th April. join in charity pool, bingo, darts, crib and other pub games. 50% of prize money to charity.

The Z Factor DVD will be on sale here for 3 euro's and the all of the takings will be donated to the Childrens Hospital in Athens.

The Chindian, of Golden Dragon is open weekends, Friday Saturday and Sunday evenings, offering their full Asian menu.

The Palm Tree is open daily and show major sport events they boast a relaxing atmosphere with a log fire snug area.
Thursday evening is Uncle Kevs 50th birthday bash. Kev, the Alykes sunbed security guard hosts his bash, with live music from 2Short and of course the famous Kev BBQ.
