For us it's a lie in until around 9, either crumpets with soft boiled egg on top or sausage sarnie with fried tomato. After catching up on Saturdays football results, it's off for a nice 4 mile stroll to get rid of the cobwebs. We don't do lunch, as we prefer to eat later on around 8 ish, usually a curry or fish and chips with curry sauce! Around 4 O'clock it's time to head out for a few beers, it's either Newcastle or South Shields, both have a great selection of bars selling real ales. Sometimes, if the weather's naff, we pop across to our local; Sunday's are great, we should have them every week!

oops, didn't read the header properly, I described our typical Sunday and forget to mention what we got up to on Saturday. Again, it starts off with a bit of brekky and a walk. Depending on who's playing, we might watch a live game on Sky around lunchtime then it's off for a bit of shopping in the afternoon and a few beers. We're usually back in the house for around 7.30 to watch telly and more beers. I tend to go on the red wine about 9 ish as I'm full of beer and although I always promise myself I'll watch match of the day it never happens as i fall asleep and wake up after my glass of wine has tipped out on me! It's then off to bed. Night John-boy!

Sunday's for the PD,s. Kids and me are early rises so I usually take them downstairs , put the cartoon chanel on and then I'll take the dog out. Sarah then gets an extra valuable hours kip. When I get back, Sarah is usually up fixing brekkie ... Usually egg and bacon sarnies for me and boiled eggs and soldiers for the kids. Later in the day we sometimes go for a Toby Carvery or sometimes we have a traditional roast and invite the outlaws. I have been known to rustle up a pan of mussels in wine and garlic on the occasional Sunday. Football on the box in the afternoon washed down with a couple of light ales. In summer we usually take the kids out to a park. Kids in bed for 7.30 and we follow about 9 and watch TV.

Fridays ...Sarah takes the kids swimming after school while i finish work and then take the dog out. Usually a treat tea as she does the big shop on Fridays...kids home , fed , watered a little homework , a little wrestle with me then bed.(The kids that is ...not Sarah) We dont ever go out to the pub these days ...due to the kids and the high price of a night out. We hit the sack about 9.30 and fall asleep while watching tv. Saturday , i awake about 6am and browse the web a little in bed while i wait for the kids to wake up around 7. As sunday , i usually take them downstairs so that Sarah has a little undisturbed lie in...i then take the dog out for a couple of hours and get muddy. Back for breakfast , maybe sausage or bacon sarnie (i have porridge , raisins and green tea monday to friday) Sometimes if the weather is ok we will go out with the dog to another park , so the kids can have a good play. Football on a Saturday aft , sometimes to watch Leeds but usually in front of the tv with Jeff Stelling. Sometimes we go out for tea with the kids ...we have a great little Italian a mile away so we go early about 5.30 before its busy and get pizza and a beer. If we don't go out we nearly always order a Curry on a Saturday . Sat evenings ...usually settle down as a family and watch Harry Hill followed by X Factor...i love this as i get to moan at the trash that Cowell cons us into watching while his bank balance grows and grows. Bed by 10.
