The Villa Pouilizeos Apartments are comprised of  two blocks of Self Catering apartments situated in the beautiful village of Alykes...The first block is located directly over looking the river at the Pentocamaro Bridge,(only newly built) whilst the second small block are 100 metres behingd the River facing ones and located almost directly on the beach itself..(within 30 feet.) a really nice location.....We visited here in June 2009 and stayed at the beach facing apts....The apartments themselves can sleep up to 5 adults....They consist of a main bedroom with a double and a single bed,an adequate bathroom with shower and curtain and a kitchen area which comprises of a fridge,small cooker,a safe for valuables( free of charge) ,air conditioning (also free of charge) and a portable tv with a one or two english speaking channels.( though who would be bothered tuning in while on holidays)....All sea facing apaprtments have a balcony as well directl facing the sea......Ample sun beds provided free of charge here too ....These apaprtments are run by Yannis and his lovely Mum and dad,along with other family members....Nothing is too big an ask,if you want anything done just ask and if feasible it will be sorted in no time....There is ample room for parking a hired car on the grounds..The Apartments are quiet and in a lovely location ....(No noise can be heard at night).Yannis runs a mall supermarket on site sellng the essentials,with bigger supermarkets only a few min walk away.....

As the apartments are self catering here are no eating facilities on site,but many bars/restaurants that do are within a 5 min walk...

Costa's beach bar serves breakdfasts and snacks all day  from early till late ,and he is located also almost directly on the beach and within 50 feet of the Villa Poulizeos.....

As Alykes is a little closer to the apartments we tended to eat and drink in the village as it only a very short way when attempting to make your way back from a great night in the Pubs/Restaurants at app 2.30 am....

All pubs /restaurant ( visited quite a few ) we visited were good and we have no complaints at all....locals really friendly and make you feel very welcome..........

This was our fourth time in Zante..have previously stayed in the Astoria Hotel (beside the salt flats) .We have been to the bigger Greek Islands but Zante and Alykes/Alykanas in particular is where we have found our littte bit of paradise ...

back in June 2011 staying Ionian Star hotel for a week and then a week in the Venus apartments in Alykans..(Beside the Cosy Corner late July/early Aug ...Cant Wait...
