HI...I A NEW MEMBER ONLY JOINED TODAY...GREAT SITE ,SO MUHK ON IT..HAVE BEEN ON HOLIDAYS IN ZANTE FOR LAST 5 YEARS NOW...ALWAYS STAY IN ALYKES....GOING TO TRY THE IONIAN STAR HOTEL IN 2011....WANT SOME WHERE RIGHT BESIDE THE BEACH ....HAS ANYONE ANY INFO ON IT...I KNOW WHERE IT IS SITUATED,JUST WONDERING ABOUT THE ACCOMODATION AND THINGS IN GENERAL.....STAYED IN THE VILLA POULIZEOS LAST YEAR WHICH WAS LOVELY..( WILL WRITE REVIEW ON OUR STAY )...BEFORE THAT ALWAYS STAYED IN THE ASTORIA HOTEL BESIDE THE SALT FLATS....HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THE COSY CORNER BUT WILL DEFO GIVE IT A TRYNEXT JUNE.....THE FOOD LOOKS SUPER..THOSE BURGERS ARE THE BIGGEST I HAVE EVER SEEN...SUCH GOOD RRTS ALWAYS ABOUT THE PLACE ,SHORTIE AND JULES TOO.......

We've stayed at the Onion Star (pun intended!) last year and it was great. Lovely room with sea view and very clean. Quiet at night too. Didn't get up for breakfast though, too knackered from the night before!

George is a great bloke, very laid back style. The hotel is ideally placed, not too far to stagger home.  Have a great time.
