Posts: 4 Stayed at Danny's in Aug 2008 and loved the place. Rooms are simple and basic as most places are with optional (pay extra daily/weekly) air conditioning. Good food available through the day via the poolside bar. Pool has a large jaccuzzi within it and there are plenty of comfy sunbeds all around the pool. There's a seperate bar open in the evenings with T.V. pool table, and internet, bar closes when the last person leaves so that's usually well into the small hours of the following day. They honk a large horn as you pass by which does get on your nerves after a few days. Bar plays lots of music for all tastes, Stellios runs the show there and is quiete a character giving away free shots and mingling with the guests, other members of the family run the supermarket which is'nt the cheapest but it's well stocked and very convenient. The weekly Greek night is excellent value for money and is well attended, food is cooked in front of you by the older members of the family directly over Olive wood on the barbeque, and is bloody lovely all served with fresh salad and accompaniments. It's great watching the bats emerge from the rooftops as the sun goes down, once one leaves there's a steady stream of them following. This complex is well sited for easy access down to the beach via the adjacent olive groves and also for the main strip running through the village on down into Alykes. I'de certainly stay there again, there's a right mix of guests from other countries during the peak summer months and all seemed to get on well even if the language barrier was a problem, lots of good mornings and acknowledgements as we passed by each other,

there's also a small kiddies play area. They also have the adjacent "KALI PIGI" hotel and you can use the pool there too, a good choice of accomodation there too !!!!

Just returned from another visit to the Letsos so here's my latest review:-

Stayed at the Letsos a few years ago and have just returned home from another stay. On reading many negative posts from previous guests I think the Letsos is just great for the price you pay. You won't get Spanish style hotels here in this area, just good clean basic accommodation. Past posts complained of sewage smells and sewage backing up from the the wet room floors so on this visit I paid particular attention to this. Greek plumbing is way behind the strict regulations/rules enforced in this country. When the building is quiet at night the pipework throughout the building drains off so with the lack of "P" traps etc smells do find their way back up the pipework into the bathrooms etc. These soon dissappear in the morning once running water begins to flood the pipework once again. As for sewage coming up through the wet room floor drains, utter rubbish it's just soap suds etc. If you use the baths release the water after use slowly to prevent it rising through the drains. This would'nt happen here but hey that's Greek plumbing that I find most amusing. In fact when the wife pulled the bath plug out and created a fountain in the middle of the room which floodedc the place I rolled about laughing.
Our room was cleaned spotless everyday with plenty of fresh towel provided on a regular basis. The front of house facilities are excellent as is the immaculate poolside and the excellent cocktail bar with it's run of the mill resort prices with good daytime snacks too. We rarely use hotel restaurants as we eat out so no comment on that one. The 2 Dennis's thar work the bar at night are a joy once you know and get on with them with free regular shots flowing freely. Eleni during the day is always lovely and chatty with English Melanie on reception always at hand. Yanni the owner is always hard at work on his computer and phone and does smile from time to time once you get to know him despite his miserable bugger reputation expressed on other forums. We really like the whole set up here even if some of the rooms leave a lot to be desired. Will have no hesitation staying here again and again !!!!
