Havn't stayed there yet , will be this year though. Last summer we stayed at the village and after a week ended up spending most of the days at the beach hotel... very impressed.

That's good to know pd as we have also booked into Alykanas Beach Aparthotel. Does anyone know if the apartment has a toaster? (my children can't live without their toast, hehe).

We have stayed at the Alykanas Beach once a year from 2003 and wouldn't have stayed anywhere else accept that a glitch meant that we booked the Beach Village for 2011 for under a grand - 2 weeks, 2 adults and a child! The staff are fantastic, the place is kept spotlessly clean and it's 30 seconds walk to The Cosy Corner!! i will be spending my holiday at the Beach, sleeping at the Village and dining at The Cosy more than once for those fantastic burgers which I tasted for the first time this year!! Only 9 months to wait :-(

the apartments are very good at the beach with plenty of room in the 2 bedroom apartments. The facilities are excellent too with a well maintained and very clean pool, doubled with being next to the sea you cant beat it.There is a toaster but with shorties only a stones throw away there isnt any need to use it,5 euros for a cosy special with a mug of tea has got my mouth watering as i write this article. The only criticism i have about the beach is whilst there in the summer was having to get up at 6am to secure a sunbed, but overall it was brilliant, best wishes to everyone,Alan&Alison. Hi alan & Alison! Just wondering if you could clear something up for me? We have booked a two bedroom apartments at the alykanas beach and wasn't sure whether there are actually two seperate bedrooms, or whether one of the beds was in the lounge area. I cant tell from looking at the pictures on their website. Would be grateful to you if you could clear this up for me!!! thanks mel.
