Hi Adrian

We stayed there about 4 years ago and all the rooms had the typical kitchenette with yes kettle and fridge.

Big Tony stayed there just over a year ago and loved it. PM him with any questions.

If you stick your arrival date on the calendar I'll have a chat with Stelliosthe owner and very nice chap too,  to prime him for your arrival, he'll make your stay a friendly one anyway but he seems to have a little extra time for our friends.

Stopping at Dannys from 27th June for 1 week. On some sites it says you have to pay a breakage deposit on arrival. Does any one know if this is true and if so how much is it. Shortie the pictures of Dannys on your site look brill. Roll on June.

Stayed at Danny's in Aug 2008 and loved the place. Rooms are simple and basic as most places are with optional (pay extra daily/weekly) air conditioning. Good food available through the day via the poolside bar. Pool has a large jaccuzzi within it and there are plenty of comfy sunbeds all around the pool. There's a seperate bar open in the evenings with T.V. pool table, and internet, bar closes when the last person leaves so that's usually well into the small hours of the following day. They honk a large horn as you pass by which does get on your nerves after a few days. Bar plays lots of music for all tastes, Stellios runs the show there and is quiete a character giving away free shots and mingling with the guests, other members of the family run the supermarket which is'nt the cheapest but it's well stocked and very convenient. The weekly Greek night is excellent value for money and is well attended, food is cooked in front of you by the older members of the family directly over Olive wood on the barbeque, and is bloody lovely all served with fresh salad and accompaniments. It's great watching the bats emerge from the rooftops as the sun goes down, once one leaves there's a steady stream of them following. This complex is well sited for easy access down to the beach via the adjacent olive groves and also for the main strip running through the village on down into Alykes. I'de certainly stay there again, there's a right mix of guests from other countries during the peak summer months and all seemed to get on well even if the language barrier was a problem, lots of good mornings and acknowledgements as we passed by each other,

there's also a small kiddies play area. They also have the adjacent "KALI PIGI" hotel and you can use the pool there too, a good choice of accomodation there too !!!!

LETSOS HOTEL,

Well after reading many negative posts about this establishment on various travel forums we went for it. Had a fantastic price off an online agent last year, although I read many of the "others" online reports I'm one for reading the book myself. We arrived in the heat of mid-afternoon to an empty reception so I went across to the pool bar for assistance. After seeing young Dennis he came over and gave us our room keys. After climing several staircases we arrived at a "LOFT LADDER" up to our room, it was dismal, dark, with no views at all. I went back down to ask for a change of room but was told the place was full and come back in the morning. Well we soon stripped off and in our swimwear headed down to the poolside for the rest of the afternoon sunshine. I must say the pool and poolside bar area is lovely, looks very upmarket from the outside. Well down to the desk next morning and was told a different room would be ready in the afternoon as guests were leaving then. No problem I waited with patience and went back later. I was told a room was available but if I waited another day (we were there for 2 weeks) we'de have a better room. This I did and sure enough next day I was given the keys to a full size appartment rather than the studio I had booked. This apartment was in the block at the rear of the complex and was great complete with optional air conditioning. We had a fab holiday there and were soon familiar with the owners and their family.

Other guests that arrived the same day as us shouted and screamed at the poorer rooms allocated then but my patience paid off. I'de have no hesitation staying at the Letsos again, It's in a great location just off the main strip with the beach at the end of the road. Pool bar prices are average and it's really lovely in there sipping cocktails into the evening. I can't comment on the restaurant's food as we eat out, but the daytime poolbar snacks are fine and I'll sure be calling in there in August to say hello and have a drink and a laze by their pool. Could'nt get the price I had last year so this year we're at the Elpida and will report on it later in the season !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi We stayed at Danny's this year and have just got back.  The appartment are really big and well furnished.  Lovely pool and has a good snack bar which service's from 9.00 in the morning to about 6.00 in the evening the food was really good.  plenty of sunbeds around the pool.  It also has a bar which is open in the evenings from about 5.00 until late.  The greek night was well worth the money 7 euros for that we got chicken leg lamb steak pork, salad and chips the entertainment was also very good they involved everyone.  so if you are looking for somewhere to stay look at Danny's.  Spiros and his staff could'nt do enough to help you.

I think it was 7 euros a night when we were there in June.

Thanks Denise.  Trying to budget for the holiday; obviously air-con and endless mythos in a frozen pint pot are the absolute essentials!
