Shorties

The weeks are going too fast at the moment. I really need to slowthem down. I used to try to do this in the UK. I found that, becauseyou are so routined in the UK you always mapped your week and I alwaysfound myself thinking of yesterday and tomorrow as close because oftoday!! does that make sense? At the moment I have work Friday andSunday at Plastik Mac's, Monday is always quite busy with shopping andbill paying etc and I have a karaoke in the evening (i'll get back tothat in a minute). Tuesday I have a Greek lesson so Wednesday andThursday are usually free. Saturday is free too, but because it isbetween 2 working days it seems part of a bunch. Today is Thursday. I missed my Greek lesson Tuesday due to a cold, so I'm having it today. iam now looking at the fish and chip shop night friday and although Ihave Saturday off, I dont really have a day free until wednesday, my Greek weekend. OK, i'm not complaining, because the amount of hours Ido over this period are few and I chose to do this rather than sitaround for 6 months. My point is that because of it mentally my weeksjust fly by!! Today is Thursday and I'm looking forward to Wednesday,just 1 day before it is Thursday again!! and that is why our lives justfly by. I used to slow the weeks down by realising this and nurturingevery day. Have a cup of tea on your own and appreciate the day for what it is. Always have 1 thing to look forward to weekly and think ofit regularly, think how long it is before that comes along. it's sort of a consious meditation, but it works.

Anyway, now you all think I'm mad!!!!

Monday night was interesting.doing the karaoke at the Chindian. For those that don't know the Chindian, or Dragons Lair, the upstairs bar, it's a place where you will offend nobody with noise in the winter. it is fully double glazed, above a restaurant and set back off the road so far you here hardly athing and there is nothing residential close by. in the winter too the police have been to the bar whilst we are doing karaoke and just had a drink and left. Although it is illegal, they leave you alone in the winter! UNLESS!! someone complains, in which case they have to act! Monday around 10.30 3 police officers were called to the Dragone Lair following a complaint!! From who! another bar owner jealous because the Lair has customers! who else, hardly another bar is open on a monday!

Sad People living sad lives, trying to make other peoples lives sad too.

The owners of the Lair have their suspicions as to who the offender is, but are saying nothing.

Maybe I;ll soon have Mondays off too!!!
