Shorties

We've had our fair share of rain the past week. Some mornings, the field behind us has been quite flooded, but here the ground is like a sponge and soon soaks it up.

There's a bit of sunshine this morning, It's quite nice actually, but some cloud and the forecast is rain, rain, rain, so I'll have to find something inside to amuse myself for a week or so. Maybe some cooking!

In the centre of the picture you can just about see the house where Hilary lives, a reverse of the view she placed on facebook the other day.

The cats are expecting rain I think! when I opened the door they seemed settled in under the roof of the balcony!

Well I have some prep to do for the Sunday Roast  at Mac's as the oven has packed up doen there and I'm waithing for the Supershop guys to come over as Darren thinks he may be able to repair it. I hope so, or it's a fortune for another industrial oven here.

Well as i'm writing this, the sun is blazing, well!  warm for this time of morning. Midday thursday, the thermometer was reading 17degs, so it's not cold, just been wet.  I hope the forecast is wrong.
