Monday morning and i'm due to go to the town for another sweaty hoy morming of queing in local authority offices. This morning I was due to do my fire papers. We phoned the fire department to check the fire chief was there and apparently he is out this morning dealing with a fire, so, that's that then! it will have to wait until tomorrow. I would rather get it done and out of the way but I cant so I might as well make the most of it and be off for a bit of sumer relaxation!
The weather is quite perfect at the moment, nice and hot but not too humid so it's a good time to sit round the pool! or the beach come to that, so maybe I will.
Sad goodbyes:
The White family. Great guys who first came in the day John in Essex and family popped in to say goodbye. Sadly they missed each other. Also from Essex these guys told me that we had been recommended and thought they would give us a go and I'm glad they did. The came down just a couple of minutes after John had walked away probably passing them on the path. The thing about that is that they both work at the same place! small world! it would have been good for their paths to have crossed. Never mind, maybe another time. Nice to meet you and hope to keep in touch!
Polite and pleasant, the Mcakay family were in regular and always a pleasure to serve them. Even on busy nights when there was a bit of a wait they would just smile and get on with it and always show their appreciation for the food they ate. Hope to see you again.
Johnny, Olivia and Mum and Dad back again with the usual crowd. Fantastic guys these are and meet up every year. Elliot and the gang who we said goodbye to the night before in DNA when I had no camera with me, join this delightful family for a mad 2 weeks of fun and laughter! and trust me, the guys are a great laugh! I won't put the other piccies on Johnny! this one is better. Hope to see you all Together! next year, if not you'll be missed.
Also part of the crowd is Jess, or Gary as we know her! Lovely girl Gary! and we've known her parents Ron and Barbs since our second year. Always great to see them, such nice people and so sad when they all leave. And Barbs! Try to make it again next year. please!
First time over for lizi's Mum and Dad, staying at the Venus with Linzi and Ben. Seemed enjoy themselves, well, why wouldn't you! it's bloody great here ain't it! Nice to meet you and hope you'll think about coming back.
